When it comes to keeping your car in pristine condition, it’s all in the details—or more so, the detailing.

As with all things in life, you have to make sure the interior and exterior of your vehicle are spic and span, said Bernard Crisostomo, marketing manager at ProShine Detailing.

“As well as you maintain yourself and your house, you should maintain your car, because that’s your in-between,” he said.

Crisostomo, who has nearly 20 years of detailing experience, said at his family-owned business, he personally spends a whole day working on your vehicle to make sure it shines brighter than the hot sun once he’s finished.

From lubing the tracks of the driver’s seat to conditioning the rugs, no stone should be left unturned when it comes to a full detail, he said.

Paradise Auto Spa General Manager Thomas Roberto carries the same perspective. When it comes to the fine details, he said they offer a rejuvenating package tailored to every vehicle and owner.

“Just like you take care of your engine,” Roberto said,” you have to take care of your interior.”

Packages offering elegance and ease with a touch of class leave your car in the same condition as you leave the spa—ready to take on island life at its best.

But if you’re wondering how often you should treat your vehicle to a thorough cleaning, Crisostomo said it’s really up to you and your lifestyle.

“How you care for your vehicle depends on you,” he said. “Healthy cars equal a healthy family.”

Whether you’re piling in the kids after a soccer game or bringing home groceries from the store, taking the time to ensure your car is clean from the inside out is made simple when you leave the details to a professional.
